Project Uplift is an alternative education program for high school students in Portsmouth Public Schools. Housed at the S. H. Clarke facility on Turnpike Road, the program operates under the supervision of Dr. Marie Shepherd, Director of Student Services.
Project Uplift operates as a computer-based instructional program that includes both a GED preparation program for high school students through the Individual Student Alternative Education Program as well as a high school credit recovery program.
